Osteometric Board

Anthropometric instrument that consists of a flat board with two ends, one of which is movable and travels along a routed track; this is the preferred instrument for measuring long bones. The object to be measured is placed between the two end pieces and the movable end brought up to the object, where the measurement scale can be read.
