Pastoralism

Subsistence pattern in which much of the food resources is from the herding of domesticated mammals. This type of life can be relatively sedentary (cf. nomadic pastoralism) if there is pasture for the animals nearby and land available for supplementary crops and/or a trading network. Aka husbandry.
