Pedomorphism

Possession of features like those of a child in a reproductively mature individual. Pedomorphism results in only the appearance of childlike features, which are in fact unlike the childlike condition in actual form and function. Adjective: pedomorphic. Can be achieved through either progenesis or neoteny.
