Physical Anthropology

Subfield within anthropology that focuses on the study of physical human variation and the forces that generated that variation; physical anthropologist. This generally means the study of evolution as it applies to paleoanthropology, but can also include biology, primatology, embryology, auxology, genetics, osteology, forensics, and medical anthropology.
