Plagiaulacoid Dentition

Cheek teeth that form an upper shearing blade that cuts against a lower tooth in which there are two rows of parallel cusps providing a valley into which the upper blade occludes. Characteristic of the living pygmy possum, certain plesiadapiforms and the multituberculate mammals. Aka butcher-block dentition.
