Polyspecific Association

Affiliation of two or more species. These units may be traveling and/or feeding groups. Polyspecific associations may aid the participating species involved in finding food or detecting predators; for example, different South American cebid species are often found in association with each another, and baboons may associate with gazelles or other grazing mammals at waterholes.
