Scurvy

State of malnutrition caused by a reversible deficiency (avitaminosis) of vitamin C. The symptoms include general malaise and depression, debility, spongy gums, and tissue hemorrhaging; the final stages involve most systems. Scurvy is often fatal unless reversed. Aka scorbutus.
