Sex-influenced Trait, Character Or Feature

1. trait produced by an autosomal gene and therefore present in both sexes but expressed more frequently in one sex than the other.

2. phenotypic outcome when an allele is recessive in one sex (usually the homogametic sex) but dominant in the other (usually the heterogametic sex), as in male pattern baldness. Aka sex-conditioned or sex-controlled trait.
