Skinfold Thickness

Measurement of the double folds of skin and subcutaneous adipose tissue that develop as the result of a measurer pinching a particular area of the body. Skinfold measurements are taken with skinfold calipers and the data obtained are used to estimate body fat composition, blood pressure, and lipids of an individual.
