Termiting

Tool-using behavior of chimpanzees in which they insert a termite stick into the entryway of a termite mound, catch the termites on the salivamoistened tip, pull the stick out, and consume the insects. The observation of this behavior by Jane Goodall resulted in a re-evaluation of the definition of humans as the tool-using animal.
